Check out page 6, I see at least 3 positive reactions towards lynching a Jester. Hence I disagree with Victor voting Squirrel for putting said Jester at L-1.

The previous pages are more relevant though since Colton had already hammered himself then. It is weird for Squirrel to put him at L-1 when he should know better, but he didn't leave clues as to what he was thinking contrary to Fir... Particularly looking at these posts:

Honestly it was not obvious to me at all. I wasn't thinking of him being the jester role. Though honestly I don't even think I was thinking much The day didn't have much and Colton was being annoying with his vote hopping, he seemed as good as any to get rid of. I mean it's not like anyone else seemed that scummy to me. Why not vote the annoyance? Besides as I said after getting rid of the jester is good as it serves as one less distraction.

But voting a jester off when you know he was one is most definitely scummy, hence my vote on the Chu at the beginning of day that I still think is a valid point.
Scum absolutely want to lynch jester because:
-Town loses a day
-They have the excuse to vote someone with a scummy behavior that is not themselves
-Meanwhile they are not under any suspicion
So not only is it bad because if you recognize one he doesn't deserve his win IMO, it is bad because it renders a day absolutely useless for t own. I need to reread since I don't remember Squirrel being as obvious as Fir in that colton affair.

That's one way of looking at it, but I've never played in a game with a jester before, but I do know that day 1 mostly boils down to bw someone and hoping to get lucky/a role claim. At least we didn't accidentally oust a doc or a cop with a somewhat random bw day 1 by killing the jester. Hopefully, we had a productive night with the investigative roles and mafia didn't get any information on who to target. It all depends on how you want to interpret lynching a jester. That said, I think that for anyone to make a big deal over who voted when on colton is a moot point because he really was acting really scummy.

colton didn't reveal, but there were people mentioning Jester. You have to reread day 1 to get that right. I suggest you do that now. First few pages. All Colton was doing was jumping votes and OMGUS'ing, and spiesr mentioned "are you some kind of freaking jester", to which colton replied negative. Logically. So yeah, I think Squirrel was somewhat aware that Colton might have been a jester.

And still. If you're accusing the guy who put him at L-1, how about the guys that put him at L-2-3-4 etc? Cause 6 votes on 1 guy are not put there by chance. Only accusing the 6th guy is just strange.

Of course, if you have a partner they could verify this, although I am not entirely sure that they should at this point. Of course if you are lovers and you either get lynched today because no-one believed you, or killed tonight because they did believe you then your partner having remained secret won't have helped them anyway.
At this point I am not really sure what to make of you. As time goes on your play seems less scummy and more just generically bad. This makes it difficult to get a read on what your allegiance may or may not be. Can you try to improve your play?

I am a little confused as to why you cast suspicion on people for voting for the jester. To me it seems that while the lynch may be in effect wasted, most people would want to eliminate the player who appears to be the jester, especially on day 1 when there is little else to work with. When someone goes jester, it seems to me that the most logical progression of events is that the town will use up that day killing them off. While the scum are likely to take advantage of this, I don't really see how going along with the inevitable in this particular circumstance can really be used to base an accusation of someone on. It looks to me as if, at least in this community, most players will just lynch the apparent jester just to get rid of them, regardless of their own alignment.

Uh, most games where a jester successfully got lynched people were pretty pissed off in general, I'm kinda surprised that everyone here seem to accept that as "inevitable" as you put it. The most common way to get rid of a Jester is by vig at night, or a JOAT, etc. While you have a point that town doesn't reveal anything either, it's quite a big advantage for mafia to basically start the game at night, making night 1 night 0 and day 2 day 1. An extra night is useful for investigative roles sure, but it mostly means that all other actions are random and the odds are in scum's favor to not be hindered or even targeted.

It's been a while since I've seen it too, but with Victor saying he's a lover and being that it's a smaller game that in which lovers are normally I don't see any reason why PMC would make both lovers town.
