I thought the deadline was tomorrow at 9pm? I presume its like 1pm ish in americaland so I make it lise 30 hours +? Still with one day left and L-3 it seems that chap should probably claim, he has been on my radar out of the active players but I have a feeling a majority of the mafia are lurking rather like dazza. Regardless, we need something from today.

Well ... unless we rely on investigative roles tonight? I must admit that I haven't really found chap scummy.

Rodion mentioned something about chap not realising the jokevoting stage being over yesterday? Besides from the universal fault of prioritising your kids over CC, I can't see why chap is scummy. What have I missed (in the one million pages)?

I did not say that. He realized it was over (or so I assume). The issue is he didn't change his way of playing accordingly and kept the "I'll vote with 0 reason whatsoever" modus operandi on his Yoshi vote.

In my opinion, what I just wrote + skimming + wanting Jak to claim his night action makes him the scummier second only to Safari.

Other players can perhaps summon different reasons to enlighten you (these are mine).

I don't have much to add, besides time seeming to run short. But can the mod post an official date? I can't seem to find it when I sort by author..

Well, since we're at a deadline and people chose to switch to me instead of away from me, I'll claim.

I'm Maj. F.H. Jackson, WWII pyrotechnician. Basically, I'm a town bomb. I soft claimed this a bunch.

I was under the impression that a bomb only killed his attacker when he is NK'd. Are you saying that you will "blow up" the hammer if you are lynched?

Good question, Jak. Being that Chap's vote is currently placed on New Guy, which means New Guy is the most suspicious player according to Chap, logic would dictate that Chap wanted New Guy to be the hammer. Yet he doesn't.

You can't comprehend his move without knowing a certain meta, so here goes.

viewtopic.php?f=610&t=156562 - read D2 if you have patience, that should explain a lot

Basically, Chap is trying to live by nominating me. He knows I value myself so highly that I would never volunteer to hammer and risk dying (even if I am a VT), so by pressuring me he could perhaps make me look bad and shift attention off of himself.

The important question is whether Chap is mafia pulling this move to survive or town pulling this move to survive (and if he is town, he could be town bomb or town non-bomb).

Either way, Jak should not hammer. Those of you who read D2 of NBC Mafia know I will not either.

Yes. Mafiascum says that is what a supersaint would do, but on this site the bomb usually stacks both roles (SS+bomb).

"Precisely."

"See how scummy Rodion is?"

"Maybe we should lynch Rodion instead of Chap."

"Makes sense. Vote Rodion".

I taught you this trick, Chap, I find it hard to believe you're trying to pull this on me (especially after I just linked proof of that). For the others, the link had Strike voting me yet "not believing enough that I was scum to be the hammer". It's funny because now I am Strike and Chap is Rodion (without the smarts). ;)

Fasposted by Rodion (somewhere between me reading and clicking to post)

Well, I was about to say a similar thing, because I was just reading the link Rodion gave us. Chap is trying to turn it around with the same technique Rodion used before. Bad move to try DIRECTLY after he points towards it bud.

I can't find anything on him beyond a wiki page and a mention in a list of soldiers, anyone got anything better?

I never seen you soft claim this at all (i looked back through all of day 2 and some of day 1), and bomb is a pretty safe mafia claim. Even with the risk of double kill I think this is a pretty decent gamble unvote vote chap

As for who hammers I would ask it not to be jak for obvious reasons. I am willing to do it. Other than myself saf would be a decent option, claimed VT and in my eyes suspicious.

Clever wants Jak's lynch. The Return of the Jester.

To be quite fair, Clever expresses he does not want this to "come too far", meaning he is merely threatening Jak to get the information he wants. Still enough to prove skimming of a clutch aspect of the game, as Jak mentioned he'd rather get lynched than disclose the info.

just got online for the first time in a few days.
i saw this and would like to clear something up. IF JAK IS PLAYING DOCTOR BY THE WAY OF SAYING I WONT DO WHAT TOWN WANTS CAUSE IM DOCTOR AND ID RATHER YOU GUYS KILL ME. he is playing it all wrong. if your town DOCTOR why would you rather be lynched than keep protecting town? thats not town doctor that is just stupid. i feel its to late to do anything about it. it shall wait then.

And about this happening before. That's precisely why I mentioned Rodion so that he would realize what I was doing. Obviously, I'm not trying to say he's scummy. This was in jest mostly:
chapcrap wrote:So, Rodion votes me, but doesn't believe enough that I am scum to be the hammer?

Although, anyone who thinks I'm super scummy (jak) or who is a VT should have been willing to hammer. All I have really proven is that jak was willing to hammer, something mafia would be very unlikely to do, so I think we can believe his doc claim more now.

As far as who is actually scummy, I'm leaning toward everywhere and newguy1 at the moment.

I think you need multiple posts before you can claim you have softed this "a bunch". You could equally say "shooting down" my point implies vig. If that one post is all you got then it ain't much.

Also if you can think to soft claim your real role from day 1 then you can think to soft claim your fake claim too, although this is less likely.

FASTPOSTED- Suddenly you start scum hunting when at l-2? Better late than never I guess.

Screw it, I'll hammer. I'm really not happy as to how Day 1 went as well as what I feel are uneven standards applied to different people.

Honestly, if people really think I was fakeclaiming, you'd have the balls to lynch me already. Take a good hard look at Rodion and jak if I don't make it.
