Um... wut? One, that is bogus. Second, plenty of the people in here have played games with various people and can grasp who the better players are. Trouble here is, everyone does actions for different reasons. Some people would recruit on the basis of skill, some would go for friends and any other number of reasons. If we lynch we need to be reasonably certain, as we could lose this game a lot faster then an average game. Actually, I'm thinking of the possibily of a NL. If someone dies tomorrow we can possibly gauge how the original thing is recruiting, and possibly work out their new partners.

Problem with that is that we don't have an investigation role so if we vote no lynch today, we'll be in the same rut tomorrow, only we'll be down a townie. The only way you can start to guess at someone's affiliation is to see how they react to a bandwagon.

Woah, I never expected my fishing to work so well. No lynch when the game started on bloody night and there's a potential cult thing growing? Srsly? *grins*

Guys do you all want to be voting of skoffin, what are we gonna do, vote of all the best players and leave the worse players in this game to figure out who is the thing.

i know i said about watching skoffin but actually voting her off at this moment of time is not the best course of action

Why not? Of course it's pointless to lynch all experienced players in case it's random, but her reaction to a few votes was eloquent enough to warrant a lynch IMO... That and if she's the thing, we know where to look next. :P

Drake does raise a valid point. We can't go around lynching every vet player for no other reason than the thing might have recruited them before anyone else. Not going along with a foolish bandwagon doesn't make someone a scum buddy.

That said, I agree with ga7 about how odd it is that Skoff advocated a no-lynch. That's one of the most futile things we could do, especially since the scum can recruit people.

Therefore, vote Skoffin

Unvote Vote Skoffin Sorry girl, but right now you're the bait for advocating a no lynch with a cult scenario and if you are in fact a "thing" then I'll be voting drake tomorrow.

Skoffin's reason for wanting a NL makes sense. However, if someone dies tonight, we gain the same information if we lynch. It would seem Skoff prefers a NL over a lynch just 'cos, as her reasoning works both ways...

Vote skoffin.

Yes, advocating a no lynch does seem a bit strange from an experienced player. And she also got quite defensive over a couple votes. Seems to me that this'll be as good a lead as we'll get on day one.

With 8 votes for Scoffin, that will be a Lynch, since even if all 6 of the remaining players vote elsewhare, noone else can pass up the current vote of 8, expect the Day 2 post/Night2 start soon

Day 2 Cont...
...The Day continued like this, some tried to make things seem normal, joking around, even laughing, but all was false, and quickly things turned serious when the accusations started. It begain with pancakemix accuseing / without cause, and in return F1fth accused pancakemix, the accusations flew then without rhyme or reason when suddenly Skoffin spoke up above the croud.
"Listen Please!" she called out "This is crazy! we cant just randomly accuse people like this! I think we need to calm down, give it another night, nothing rash has to happen" and with that statement it was over, the first to raise against her was ga7, as the croud got behind him, calling out that only 'the thing' would not want it found! There was no option for her, they had surrounded her and before she had a chance to back up her claims, a LARGE majority was attacking her. Then it happened, a gun shot, fired by ace1217 who had remained silent until now, Skoffin's eyes went wide with the sudden pain, then glazed over as she fell to the ground, dead.
A slow hush waved over the people in the hall as they watched, and nothing happened.
"The things in the dog cennal... bullets didnt stop them, only the fire... sh-she was human" Brandon's voice peeked up above the others "you...you killed a human!"
After the comotion calmed down, and Scoffins body was taken care of, everyone slipped back to the rooms, but the captain had assigned a 'fireguard' this night, two people a night to watch the halls, to make sure nothing happened, now if 'the thing' attacked, it would have to be much more careful.

Skoffin: Killed VIA lynch: Human

Begin Night 2...
