That's because cult won due to a win condition, not due to endgame. I'll try to make it clearer next time, my mistake. It's the first time I'm modding with win conditions.

Scene

The last soldier was tired. Everyone around him was dead, but he had to try and eradicate the pirate nuisance no matter what the odds. As he patrolled the docks, two rough looking sailors caught his eye.

"You there, go on, get off!"

However, he noticed that both of them drew shiny looking swords and advanced on him. One of them took a stab at him and missed, but the other one's blade sank into his ribcage. As he fell to the ground, he managed to squeeze a round out of his musket, ensuring that his murderer would share the same fate.

Yes, this game was NV.

I have to say, that was a pretty epic post by Fircoal right before he was lynched.

If anyone had thought to either kill or lynch Davy Jones, then all the recruited cultists would revert to their original alignment and roles. Bootstrap Bill would have become a 1-shot Dayvig (although he didn't know that).

I think unlynchable is the perfect Commander role, when he's aggressive, he can be confident about not being mislynched.

edocsil played the traitor very interestingly. I didn't originally envision him actively gunning for the win condition. If you notice, several people want Sparrow dead, so I thought he would have laid low. Selling out the entire mafia in exchange for Sparrow dead was novel and much more interesting than I originally envisioned. And without PCM's interference, it could easily have happened, which might have lead to a cult victory.

I liked all the negotiating towards the end of the game. Everyone knew who everyone was and that was quite entertaining to watch.

Way to go VioIet, doublevoter, and never using the ability and still winning.

I'm surprised more people didn't try to recruit or kill falko. Especially after Barbossa dying, and him revealing who we was day 1, he was the only vig like role. The swords impart 50% bulletproof while held and can 1-shot be used to 50% chance NK someone. Who brings a gun to a swordfight anyways?

I can't believe Victor recruited the Mafia Watcher Night 1 and also the mafia NK target Night 2. Made for some interesting scenes to write. I did go by movie flavor where the recruitment supersedes death. Strangely, Streaker had a chance at offing him from killing too many of his henchman but Streaker and some of the EITC mafia got hung before that could really happen.

If I had to vote on who I would give the premium to, I would say Victor. Dunno if getting gt to take a bullet for him was his idea or not, but he parlayed cult into pulling off an impressive win.

Remember, we still have to decide who gets the premium prize, so please post in the thread about who you'd like it to go to and we'll go by majority consensus.

It was a great gambit...props to that...on the other hand...I should have been able to counter victor's claim however I actually doubted what my role actually was...I felt that giving people an extra action was too powerful and thus probably a fake.

All I'll say is that it had nothing to do with you and everything to do with mandy. I decided to take the chance that he might become immortal or something. I thought that I had a mistake and had practically given up at the end, but I guess it turned out better than I expected.
