On the other hand, this also sets up an interesting WIFOM situation. I see being mod as having 3 different broad possibilities for PR/flavor restrictions.

1. Use a general restriction: Probably so it makes it harder to guess who it is.

2. Use something somebody else is known for: MLP being an example, but maybe something along the lines of Big Lebowski quotes if tails was the mod or maybe Toy Story references if Rodion was the mod. Maybe even reference a recent game they modded or something.

3. Use something you yourself are known for: A pretty heavy WIFOM where you use your own little theme.

In conclusion, since word of god says shield didn't come up with this, we can probably say one of a few people would be more likely to come up with it, but it doesn't mean that they're the only people. After all, shield's little trademark is well known to most of us. I half expected the PR to force us all to say Ishicastr at the end of our posts or something.

Now hold on a second here. We really should consider here what's more important, going after mafia or going after the mod. I suppose losing players to modkills is bad, but it does technically narrow down who the mod might be. I mean, what exactly are our priorities here, catching the mod or lynching the mafia?

That sounds like an excuse concocted by THE MOD. What a great alibi, I wouldn't make it purple/green as I am colorblind, so I can't be the mod. Now I guess I have to lurk more than normal.

Really? Then why does my role PM specifically state "Town" in blue? That makes me think we may have a mafia element as well. Unless you're somehow very sure that we don't have a mafia.

There's no mafia bud, read the opening scene... The 'mod' is going to kill off the town, not the mafia...

I hate the broski that is making me mentions apple jack o.e Like really.. MLP and colour. Whoever did this is messed, although a question.. what if the 'mod' breaks his own rules?

Then we lynch them. It says we're only modkilled if the mod chooses to kill us or misses us. So if someone breaks the rules and doesn't die there's a good chance they are the mod. On the other hand the mod could just let them go to divert suspicion away from himself.

ya i feel its dumb to have as many as wanted i feel rules would be better if it was like if someone gets modkilled then the day just ends and you move on. that way not everyone dies day one and two. this game is gonna be short..i can tell

MLP I would think then that the real mod in all fairness should kill the MOD if he/she breaks their own rules,made sure I had this in the right color this time.

Why would the modpony kill ponies off? It will be much more fun for him to saddle us all through his pony rules. This is why ponies joined! We ponies wanted to be the modpony. Now ponies are crying that ponies aren't the modpony and this is stupid and anneighing. Well, PONY UP!

DJ Pon3 will make an additional push for safaripony. 1. He tried to divert us ponies to find mafiaponies, when there are no mafiaponies. 2. He was the first pony to blatantly call out other ponies and their breaking the pony-posting rules. Good ponies wouldn't do that. Good ponies would let it slide. I say we kill the modpony, safaripony. Let's at least get a lynch before he decides to gut the offending ponies...shall we?

The longer we ponies drag this day out, the more ponies will be breaking the pony-posting-procedures.

DJ Pon3 must apologize. DJ Pon3 doesn't see where it states that there is no mafiaponies. DJ Pon3 believes there could/will be mafiaponies, and that the modpony will act like the SKpony. So, this pony retracts reason #2 to vote for safaripony. However, this pony's vote remains on safaripony for point #1. Also, this ponies first vote was not bold, per the rules. So...

So bronies, how exactly do we want to play this out? Does anyone think the mod has powers that extend into NK's? I mean, eventually, we're going to have to pick lynch targets, and/or possible nightkills, so how exactly do investigative/protective roles figure into this equation?
