Re: Just some Silly Mafia -- Night 2, - OMG It's almost ove

Postby Haggis_McMutton on Thu Nov 18, 2010 4:53 pm

As the night comes aage laughs happily to himself "Ha, those fools, i PWNED THEM, hahahaHAHAhahaHA" as he heads over to kill Tails. To his surprise, as he pounces on tails, he notices another shadowy figure who seemed to have had the exact same thoughts as him. This figure is Flores.
Both Flores and Aage plunge their daggers into tails which weakly says "You guys ..." and then tries to plunge his own dagger into Flores, but somehow it lands into aage instead.

aage and Tails are NK'd.

Flores Wins the FIRST JsSM game JsSM = Just some Silly Mafia btw, this might become a franchise you know.

Ok, here's my notes:

AoG - VT +(unknown = kill lightning rod, BP townie, 1.01 Votes)
Aage - SK + Watcker
Flow - SK + Roleblocker
Tails - SK + Tracker
Flores - SK + Busdriver

So everyone was a SK except for AoG who was a Vanilla, and (unknown to him a lightning rod for kills AND a bulletproof townie) *mod dodges rotten tomatoes*

Here's what happened:

Night 0

Flow
Kill: aage
Block: Flores

Aage
Kill: Flow
Watch: Flores
Turns out Flow visited Flores tonight.

Flores
Kill: aage
Track: Tails -NOT
You attempt to track tails, this unfortunately fails for a number of reasons, the main one being that you are not a tracker. :P

Tails
Kill: aog
Track: aage
Aage visited Flow

Day 1

Flow lynched

Night 1

Aage
Kill Flores
Watch Tails
If i told you that i'd have to make rocks fall on you. Tails was visited by Flores tonight.

Flores
Kill AoG
Switch Flores with Tails

Tails
Kill aage
Track Flores
Aage visited Flores as well ...

Day 2

Flow replaces AoG
Flow lynched

Night 2:

Aage
Watch tails
Kill tails

flores
kill tails
switch flores and aage

Tails
kill flores
track aage

If you find mistakes, well I'm already dodging the tomatoes, so not much you can do, sorry.

Damn you flores, damn you. I knew you'd switch yourself w/ aage, so I was hoping to kill him. I didn't expect everyone else to be SK though.

Nice touch Haggis. I like this new franchise. Although now the "everyone but one are SKs" wouldn't be a surprise anymore.

Because while AoG was alive no one could night kill. All night kills were redirected to him and he was bulletproof.

Oh I totally missed the lightning rod part. I swear my reading comprehension skill are awesome. I knew AoG (or flow 2.0) had to have a revealed role. I figured there was at least 2 killers, and the numbers didn't make sense. His being bullet proof and drawing all NK's is pure genius.

It was also pretty funny from my PoV. 4 SK trying to appear as town to each other,

Do you want to be vanilla?

Seriously, any thoughts about the setup? It's supposed to be silly, but not broken. That's why i gave AoG 1.01 votes, so he could actually win(he just had to not get lynched till only him and one more guy was left and then he'd win due to the 1.01 thing :D )

Edit: Also, how did aage not get instantly killed after a quick lynch? There's just no excuse for that...

The only thing I would say is don't label it JsSM. It sounds kinda dirty if you sound it out.

Haggis wrote:Seriously, any thoughts about the setup? It's supposed to be silly, but not broken.

I liked it a lot, actually. Kinda like Dethy, you know, short and sweet, we know all the roles, but who is it? kinda thing, only more exciting.

Huh, really? I'm not a native english speaker and i can never figure out what non-words are pronounced like. So i don't get it, what does it sound like?

Sorry if it's obvious.

Edit: Also, by JsSM franchise i meant more silly games, not necessarily more games with this exact setup. But if you guys actually like it, we could do that as well. I guess the VT needs to have his 1.01 vote as secret also though, otherwise it's kind of obvious.

Really? The majority of people who post in the forums have terrible grammar, so I just figured you spoke English primarily. Shouldn't really surprise me I guess. Yeah it sounds like gism (not sure of the spelling), which is a slang term for semen.

But yeah I like the silly theme as well. Just out-of-ordinary, unexpected stuff. Kool and the gang.

Haggis, you have my compliments. This setup is great. But leave out the busdriver next time, it's too strong... Rather put in a SK that has a 1 shot bulletproofness.

Either way, I also don't understand as to why I was not lynched instantly. I also don't understand how you guys have been tricked into lynching flow (AGAIN...). Flores was playing the dirty game, but I don't think Tailgunner was believing me to be a SK since he himself was a SK too. lol

Either way, I'll join the next game, but please, no 4 SK's again XD this game was awesome, but the vt can f*ck the game up on D1 lol.

You sold me with the "I have to kill every night" part. I thought you were a townie who had to kill (seems silly enough). So I figured if I hammered your lynch then I would be the first suspect. Plus I never expected 4 SKs.

Do you mean a daykill? That's might work :-k

Hmm, i wonder if running this setup dethy style(with the roles known ahead of time) would work at all.

No, the 4 SK part is great, it's just... hard to figure out lol.

Also, if you'd make 4 SKs with town abilities they'd be killing around voting no lynch while night brings in nothing, and the sane cop is going to think he's actually insane since he gets a lot of guilty results xD

 That's actually good. I'm going to have to wait a couple of months till you guys forget about this then run that setup as a "dethy"

But, what i mean by "dethy style" was just with the roles known ahead of time.

Or maybe the setup will be: It's known ahead of time that there's 4 SK's and 1 [VT + lightning bolt + BP townie that wins when there's 2 left], but it's not known what additional powers the SK's have.

I think I'll keep the JsSM name for general silliness, but since you guys actually liked this setup I'm prolly going to make another game with this or a very similar setup soon. See if it works if you already know what the roles are.

Anyway, any suggestions about what name this setup should have? :D
