Conquer Club

As a n00by member of the ConquerClub civilization, I feel like it is time to show some organization on the general population's side. For too long has there been warring between a certain group of radical forum-goers and mods. Well now is the time for civility. And I'm not at all good at this speech stuff so I'll shattup.




General Rule for the General Election:
The first 12 nominees who get 2 nominations will be entered into the poll



The "prez" will then hopefully be considered the "voice of the people" by those that have more ConquerClub-al power than the rest of us.

I nominate my next-door neighbor, Willy. He has an eye patch, which is crucial for any would-be despot/ruler. I've asked him to work on his mustache.

A fair idea and definitely in the right vein, but unfortunately a lack of official authority or recognition will make a representative about as useful as a paper condom.

However, I think that if we were to have 3-5 elected representatives from the different forum communities, gave them a board (our version of C-SPAN) where only they and admins/mods can post but all can view, and gave them the task of channeling the opinions and emotions of the various groups on the board, then we could see some real progress.

Perhaps as an incentive to volunteer, to stay as a representative, and to do a good job, CC could give those elected auto-premium -- if they do good job they get to keep it for as long as they stay, but if they don't then they aren't reelected and will lose it.

This would probably take relatively little time and effort to implement too.

Hm, I was thinking about 3 being the original number but I felt like 1 was more straight to the point.

And Idk, would I actually have to like talk to the mods? I was kind of hoping they'd read this thread and be like: "What a wonderful idea! We should give that guy 30 dollars!"
