How Many Cards?

In the past I suggested putting in some kind of status indicator or something that would show how many cards each of the players was holding. I think Lack said he would put that on his rather long "to do" list.
Now I've heard a rumor that there might be some kind of script floating around that some people here are using that gives them this information.
I'm not the least bit knowledgeable regarding computer programming, so I don't know if something like this is possible, or not. But if there is such a script, or mini-proggy, like this floating around, I want it....lol

Tr0y wrote a script for greasemonkey that lets you see cards as well as a couple other useful things. Heres the link to the topic.

When Internet Explorer becomes as easily extensible as Firefox is, and somebody ports Greasemonkey to it.

All one needs to do is go back thru the game play and it says when someone gets a card. Therefore count those up and subtract when they turn in a set...........don't need a fancy program - just simple math........

Panther, we all obviously have been counting for a while, but when you're playing sometimes more than 20 games at a time and some of them are in rounds over 30, you can very tired of counting. It's also a drag when players start getting eliminated and another player gets their cards. You then have to count both of the involved players cards for each of their turns. Sometimes it has just been too much trouble for me and I've just decided to go for it regardless.
I don't know much about firefox but maybe I'll install it just to play at this site.
Thanx for the link.

I went and downloaded and installed Firefox, then followed instructions to download and install Greasemonkey, then loaded Troy's script. The whole process was very easy and took maybe fifteen minutes, if that, from start to finish.
Now I have the stats I need displayed right in front of me.
Thanx SOOOOOOOOO Much TROY!!!!!
