I just finished my third game, (2 wins 1 loss) and wanted to try with team matches, and before I waste someones time, I wanted to ask if there is anithing I should know (besides deadbeating), perhaps about communication or diplomacy or wathever. I just dont want to embarrass my teammate

yes, communicate with your partner because communication is key to the game. In the team game I am in, my teammate and I are playing against elite players and my partner is a very good player. We communicate our moves and plan through our moves and this is why we are winning the game.

maybe it's in the instructions some where, but really who reads instructions anyway?... you should know that you can fortify your teammate with your own armies and you can deploy your armies to your partners territories as well

cheers

don't play on the same team as a noob (even tho u mite b 1 ureself). They quite often deadbeat and that can spoil ure game from the beginning

reverend_kyle: I dunno about that, I would have to look up every time you play and my neck is gonna hurt a lot :D right now I feel more safe with the other kids like me. Perhaps when I get to Sergeant.

thundercat: Communication like "lets attack this continent now, you start from the south and I'll help from the west" ? joint invasions or stuff like that?

DING: When I read the instructions I didnt read the team games part, because I thought I wouldnt go there in a while, so thanks to you now I know why I had so many countries to fortify...

RobinJ: Not even round 2 and 2 turns missed. Seemed you were right on that one.

By the way, some more questions:
if me and my partner share a continent, to get the bonus, one of us would have to leave right? Will someone have to de-fortify so the other one can attack?

If a player is kicked out for deadbeating, do his armyes and countries will belong to his teammates?

There are many questions and answers in the FAQ, check them out.

FAQ wrote:How can I get a whole continent without attacking my team mate?
You can't. The best thing to do is fortify all but 1 of your men from the country your partner needs, this will make it easier for them to take the country.

Regarding the deadbeating, his armies go to a team mate. ;)

Ouch, my fault, I didnt notice the FAQ before.

Regarding the deadbeating, his armies go to a team mate.

All of them to a single one? and is it selected randomly or how?

EDIT: I meant in triple games of course.

and dugcarr is paranoid that he is exploiting the system by using lower ranked players.. I've looked at your score however and it looks pretty damn good for a new recruit.
