I just started a four person terminator game, sequential, and I didn't get to take the first turn.

how does the computer decide who gets to take the first turn in a seq game???
Ever get the feeling you have 200 men with tanks and rockets, and they are getting their asses kicked by a neanderthal with a stick???

It is called auto attack!
