I'm not surprised...considering the amount of active users we have. :) But it sure shows everyone who knows how to play. ;)

Shouldn't there be a question mark here?

Anyways, yeah, there are a lot of people with over 2000 points. -Strategy: just need to win games, I guess.

Actually I believe he said in his letter that he created them and they helped him get to 6th from 14th.

If you'd count the average points of all people from scoreboard now you might notice it's considerably more than 1000.

Points are cumulating into the system. Expect even more people to reach 2000, more generals, more to stay above 1000.

It surely shows something, but not everyone who knows how to play has that much points....

That's only possibly true, since a lot of people join and deadbeat and never return, knocking them off the scoreboard after 30 days and leavingtheir points in the system. So there will be a slight inflation in the points over a long period of time... if lack went back into the database and averaged the points of anyone not on the scoreboard, he would surely find that the number is not 1000. If that number is higher than 1000, there is actually a deflation in the total points available. If that number is lower than 1000, there is an inflation.

You also have to consider busted multis who have gained a considerable amount of points from not only their multis, but other "real players" who lose points due to the games they lose because of these multis. And with the recent loss of stevegriffiths23, a lot of points have been lost from the system that will result in a slight deflation, putting more value into the point. Were this a closed system, it would not be the case and the point would maintain its value, but that is simply not the case. If someone went through the full scoreboard and captured all the scores and found the average, we could determine the value of a point based on that average by dividing 1000 by the average. Multiply that result by the number of points each person has to find the true value with respect to the ranking system. Or multiply the ranks by its inverse (average/1000) to determine new ranking values. That could be integrated into the scoreboard, in fact...
