How does alliances work?

Since I am a new Recruit, I would like to know how do alliances work in Conquer Club games.
Do i have to use the Privite chat to find an alliate and after I comunicate it in the Game Chat, do I have to use only the Game chat or am I free to act as best I wish also using only the private chat?

Ask openly in game chat and negotiate any way you want. At least that's how I do it.

If you are in a singles game you need to negotiate in public and make it clear to all you wish to form an alliance.

If you are in a doubles or triples game you are in an alliance with your team and everything can be private by clicking the show team only box when you chat.
