Do-or-Die Battles!

The new button for attacks is pretty sweet! I had started a game a couple months ago just waiting for the do-or-die button to come out so I could test it. It was simply a very large build-up game. My 2 partners in crime were Highborn and Jaydog. So, since today was the day that the button was put in place, I tried it out.

I had 15,730 troops in Indonesia and Jaydog fortified 13,626 into Siam.
I attacked him and finished 15 minutes later with 4138 troops in Indonesia.

If someone wants to do the work with those figures to find out if attacker or defender got the advantage, I believe this test will be large enough to prove something. =D>

The game number is 42322 if anyone wants to see the next edition! :D

a total of 25, 218 troops died (a lot of casualties  ) since 2 troops died with each roll of the dice, there were:

12,609 dice rollz.

If you roll 12,609 rolls, the defender should loose approximately13,606.372 troops and in this case the defender lost all 13,626 troops, therefore the defender lost 20 more troops than was supposed to, and the attacker was spared 20 troops

Congrats, in this specific roll the attacker dice were slightly favored :-$

I think we should observe a moment of silence out of respect for AK_iceman's and jaydog's fallen soldiers.

This attack paralyzed the server for 15 minutes last night

At least now I know it wasn't a more serious problem.

What am I missing here? How do you get 15,730 troops?

I've had over 70 at once...maybe.

they have been playing for months just building up troops, never with the intention of either person winning the game, simply to run the auto attack when installed.

rev. kyle, why do you post by only quoting someone... We already know what they said, you do not have to repeat it

That definitely takes no calculus. Just a little algebra expanded.

The next one will be much bigger, and will include the dice analyzer.
I will wait till like 2am though, so as not to disturb very many people.

what kind of army numbers are you guys expecting for the next attack?

This remids me of a certain game on the Europe map where the units kept (or keep, is it still running?) disappearing.

You guys should have gone freestyle, though. Then you could have ended it with a draw by deadbeating once your experiments were finished.

...damn do-or-die button. I used it and got pwned. To get to another persons continent i could either choose to go east, which had 4 men, or west, which had 3 men. I had 10 men and chose to go west with do-or-die, and died.
