Relative Rank Calculation

This is the average relative rank of all opponents played.
If you play opponents exactly the same rank as yours all the time then Relative Rank = 1.000.

Example: Your score at the end of a game is 3000.
Everyone else has a score of 1500. So the average rank of your opponent is 1500.
Average relative rank = 1500 / 3000 = 0.5

Note that the score is calculated based on your score at each game end time, not your current score.

The ranking can be calculated by downloading the greasemonkey script CCMapRank

You can blame all the casual 8-play classic escalating games I've been in. Christ a lot of new recruits end up joining those... when your score is 3500 vs 1000... that would mean your relative kill ratio is 350... dumb system!

Maybe we can call a halt to this thread for a day, please. There is a new version coming that
measures losses as well as wins, meaning you will have a relative opponent score not just for kills.
Also more importantly I cocked up the team calculations so team players are screwed at the moment...

it might be right. you play alot of team games so if 3-4 players of high rank dont join against you, than most likely it is going to get filled up by low ranks which is not your fault. no matter what, this is just a formula to make single players feel better about having a low win percentage.

Oh good. We have followed up the thousands of threads of "Why won't high ranking players play new players or lower ranked players?" with "Look, high ranked players only play people they can beat."

I see that alot of low ranks join your team games. Also, this current version only takes into consideration games that you have won. You would expect to win a large percentage of team games against low rankers, that is probably why your relative rank is so low.

AKA i play against people with 75.7% of my own points. Considering where my rank have been now for a very long time, that means my opponents has an average of 1500-1600 points.

List isn't being updated until new version of the script is released. Don't bother posting until then.

You are one of the clear contenders! - Blitz has a huge proportion of team games so may not figure at all.

I usually make my own games (except for team games) so don't get the wrong impression..
