For those having a bad start in the club

Many of us get disgruntled after losing the first few games when we first start out. I just want to say it's normal & once you get the hang of it you'll surely start winning a lot more. This is a great site and a great game so don't give up! When I started my score initially dipped down to 900 but then there was a lucky break and I got a 10 game winning streak. I don't expect to keep my rank/score but I'll still be having fun. Good luck all!

It doesn't bother me. Playing and losing to the best players means I'm learning.

I don't mind losing, but I am getting tired of playing doubles with people who don't seem to understand how to play it to it's best....

I also am getting tired of the holding tactic being implemented so often.

The last thing is the attitude of players always assuming you are trying to cheat if you just wait a minute for someone to finish their turn that they already started....

Great site but definately needs some things to be set down.... rules... inforcement of them... and banned accounts aren't always bad.

Yes, Well said, weidsun. And I wouldn't mind a shot at playing you in a Standard Sequential Classic Game.

I also agree with FishFries. I'll be looking for partners that KNOW how to play, not SAY they do.

We can't all be leaders. Welcome to the Proletariat.

And, Welcome to all new members. This really is a great site. Still in it's infancy, and I'm sure the bugs are being alleviated even as I type.

Thanks, Lack. Great Site!

hmmmm......modesty becomes you weidsun. It also doesn't hurt if you use that thing attached to the top of your neck...lol Personally, I've been playing since I was a kid, (which was a long, long, time ago...lol), but I'd still like to think that I could learn a thing or two. I've taken note of who the higher ranked players are and I watch them in games and read their posts with interest.

This site is a nice little filler between the few times my friends I and play in person. I'm glad to have chanced upon it, and also to have gotten off on the right foot. I look forward to playing many people, and trying my hand in doubles. 'til then,

The interwebs, a world in which skeksis and gelflings can mingle? Madness!!!

Oh, I would just like to apologize for highjacking this thread, as you were, gentlemen...

Epic Andy quote.
Site has been a nice little filler between real life for me too.
