...okay, so I've played my fair share of Risk and such, and just recently stumbled upon this gem.

That being said, I am new to Conquer Club, so fill me in...

1. What are the main differences between Risk and CC?
2. Anything that a newbie NEEDS to know?
3. Tips/Strategies

Thanks a lot guys. Look forward to playing with you guys. Not that I need yet another thing to be addicted to online. =)

Well the rules to CC are pretty much the same as th normal Risk rules. The way the game starts is that evry territory is randomly chosen and you get 3 troops on each territory. There are different modes that you can play on though. All the different things are pretty much explaned in the Instructions section. I guess thats all I relly have to say. Hopefully It helped a little.

firstly, welcome. If you've been playing Risk then you should know most of the basics to do fairly well. If you play an escalating game then the value of the cards goes up at each subsequent cash in. Therefore, your timing of cahing in your cards proves crucial. It will help if you know how many cards your competitors have. You can find this out most easily by downloading a script which will allow you to see this. You can find out how to download (for free) this script by clicking on the sticky post at the top of the general discussion page of the forum.
