Either way, Tanner's Internet usage has been curtailed. He's got a home computer, but his parents don't let him on the Web after 9 p.m. He's been using computers at the library during the day.

That's not fair.....just look at my IP address. That law is uniforcable......It can't be a crime if a) Libraries decide not to turn off thier Internet at certain times they don't want people on thier net and b) they have FREE internet. Besides the taxpayer pays for it. They warn you if your net is unsecured, other people may log on.

I was always under the assumption that this story was true, but in this thread someone said that it was contrived between Iceman and the local newspaper.

I am glad this stuff gets brought up every once in a while.

This story is an embarrasment to this site and especially to the already sub-par moderating squad here. This is not the way one wants to start making headlines- by having a moderator arrested for stealing bandwidth. Really makes one wonder what the rest of the mods here are like.
