I should thank CC really, as i am now going out instead of sitting here in a state of mental shutdown...

There do seem to be a lot of Technical difficulties and have been for some time.
Is there an end in sight?

you know out of all the server complaints of late that one just then was the first i have experienced...
i assume lack is fixing he is home

Lack has just returned turtle training camp, so he should be onto fixing this place up nicely

As gimil mentioned, Lack has returned and is working on it in full force. Should turn around now.

Well it has improved considerably I think over the last few days. Hopefully that will be the end of our troubles

luv CC, but this server slow down really stinks. Can't even get into some of my speed games.

the cc site has been having issues off and on for over a week and very frustrating and continues to even today, grrrrr

Cost me fortifying and card in one game.

Luckily that game is a dragger... all it's doing there is pushing off my end game strategy by a few turns. Yeah... instead of a 500 round strategy I'm now looking at about 550 rounds or so...

can we have an update please.. ? The slowness, not being able to send PMS.. crashes etc etc. is making my bottom itch.

I truly do not like to complain as this site is a masterpiece of cerebral allure but the diamond in the rough is dulling in its luster.

It is fun and it is cheap.

However... if your games are ruined because of server issues... or if you spend 5 minutes typing a funny email only to have it get lost... sorry that takes a little of the fun away.

I'm not saying it's so bad that I want to abandon CC... a vacation and some "away time" may be in the offing though.

Still the best site in the world by a country mile and I seek to thank Lack not to pillory.. but it does need to get sorted to keep it at the pinnacle .
Problems have been sporadically occurring for some months now and sometimes it gets my dander up

The email thing is what prompted my latest post... i type far too many words (to the ire of their recipients) but it is not fun, having spent half an hour concocting a clan letter, to have it wiped out as you attempt to send it.

Just keeps hanging... won't let me play.

It's moot mostly.. I've pretty much lost this one.

So it let me in to finish.

I had to close and re-open my browser 3 times.

Clearing cache etc.

It's not just for CC I use the browser though... I am
at work.. so I have 3 others open for work related
reasons that I sometimes have to close too.

another 100+ point swing down the tubes......

Out of curiosity, is there no one to "step in" and "fix" servers when lack is away?
I realize he is back now, but if twill or someone had done something the first day, all of this could have/ would have been adverted.

Perhaps lack needs a co-owner?
