How can this work?

This sucks.

CC needs to get servers updated quick or it will die.

I play from work... so "hanging" games are a killer.

I was told to close my browser and clear cache... that
works sometimes but not always.

It's also a big hassle if I have 2 or 3 other windows open
for work related purposes.

I am in a game now where my turn is halfway through
and i won't let me complete it.

This has happened a number of times and seems to happen
more and more frequently.

you can get someone else to finish your turn for you if you really cant do it.

Not sure... it's not a PC issue. It's not even about this specific game.

I can play other games and even post in here.

My turn ended without me completing it.

I started a new turn... made a few kills... and that also has "hung".

This isn't the first time this has happened.

Sometimes it will let me finish if I clear the cache and go back to the game... other times no.

My point is just that this is ruining the CC experience for me.

I try to play turns while on the phone at work or whatever... and if I have to keep closing browsers and whatever it slows me down and makes it so I can't really play from work.

... am I the only one having techincal issues with CC?

nope... just IE

I mean all of CC is "slow" it seems to me today.

This one game though is killing me.
I could finish it this turn.

I'm afraid to start my turn on another game... I don't want the
same thing to happen.

I tried one game... played a turn no worries.

This just bites!

Could the office have a firewall or something messing with your internet? I know that quite a few businesses out there attempt to block websites that aren't work-related.

I've seen that at my school. Sites such as youtube, it doesn't block it at first, but when it sees you are on it, it blocks you. Usually happens after a minute or two.

Have you tried using firefox, too?

my school blocks a bunch of websites.

And its got an annoying game, almost like its taunting you.
If you are browsing google images for a long time, just messing around, after a while it decides to block every picture on the page. So its the google page, but with a ton of the red Xs replacing the pictures. its so annoying!

No... this is not the case.

Small company... I would know if there were blocks.

Also... some days it is fine... this afternoon it's been fine.

I played several other games... just this one game "hung" twice.
This has happened before.

I have asked tech support... they said "clear your cache"... sometimes that seems to work... but not always.

It's my turn again in this same game.... we'll see if I hang or if I can finish my turn.

Maybe you should do work at your job instead of complaining in the forum
