While it is not a hassle to use the game finder, I am finding it disturbing that the join game pages are filled with team games where 2 or 3 veterans join collectively for 20 games on end, then wait for the noobs to join. Then of course, you might have several such groups, so you just get pages of hundreds of worthless games. The veterans stay away because they don't want to join then get hooked up to 2 noobs. There ought to be some intervention on this practice.

what are you talking about? i join team games with blitzaholic and vace cooper, 15-20 games at a time. it isn't our decision who joins the games or when they join the games. and we stand to lose a lot more points when cooks and privates join than when higher ranked players join. we can not control who joins the game. if you want to play those games against teams comprised of higher ranked players (i am by no means that high up on the CC rank scale, i play with blitz because he cracks me up), get your own triples team and join together. i have a few regular doubles teams, a few triples teams, and am now about to get a quad going. when any of us want to join games, we join them together, as a team, not randomly with people we don't know. so, what you perceive as a problem, isn't. anyone can join, any team can join, you just need to organize. many of these teams you have a problem with are teams that play together all the time, not just to grab the massive 8-10pts they may get by beating a group of privates... why don't you get your own team going, set up games OR join some games. then the problem is solved.-0

See, that would be true if you were playing a STANDARD game.
e.g. You fend for yourself against high-ranking players.
I don't mind that.
I just don't want to be fighting high-rankers while depending on questionable teammates.

learn the rules. i've lost 30pts in a team game to lower ranked players. it doesn't have to be a standard game. i just think you are REALLY unclear on the concept. and if you have a problem with people having TEAMS that they play with regularly, get YOUR OWN TEAM together and play them.-0
p.s.-learn how the points work, a lower ranked team can easily walk away with 30pts per player in the type of game we are discussing.

it would be nice to have a rating filter option when starting a game. i.e. only 1500+ allowed could join a particular game if the game starter so choosed.
