i like green and grey the way they are. only time it sux is when the map colors get in the way, but there are so many different colors used on so many different maps, that it is inevitably impossible to make them "perfect".

god bless BOB and map inspect :-)

Yep, I have no problems with green and gray....more so red and pink.

But every person's eyes are a little bit different, and all the maps have different backgrounds so there is no way to make every color perfect to every person. Fortunately Bob solves all problems.

but you shouldn't need bob! bob is a supplement to the game, not part of it.

God bless Bob... it may be a supplement but it is as vital to CC as butter (or high in polyunsaturated fat alternative) is to toast.

Have you tried some of the new maps without Bob's help. Actium for one I would find almost impossible without it

And that is why CC has the currently inferior color blind system. If you don't have Bob you can turn that on and everything will work fine.

Don't try to say you aren't colorblind either, because I have no trouble distinguishing between the green and gray. I'm assuming no one on the color committee had that problem either, and in fact this is the first complaint I've heard about those two colors.

The problem is really that everyone's eyes see the colors a bit differently. If you lighten green, someone won't be able to tell it apart from teal. If you darken gray it will look too much like blue to someone else....etc

on the map used i have no problem discerning (FAR EAST) .. on the 2.1 it is more difficult.
i think this is less to do with colour blindness than the vividness of the background colour......and also your eyes not being used to looking for that nasty gray yet.

just an idea but to make it easier you could make the numbers patterned!!!
The is already a black outline why not more different outline colours..

green and grey are the only ones I get confused over as well.

I have bob and I use the colour blind thing btw, just saying that I agree that they are hard to tell between.

well i think 8 player games are turning into something og a lottery, so 10 player will be even worse. got too to try them though.

the only cool thing about 10 players, would be 3 teams for triples, and 5 teams for doubles. or even 5 man teams, i dont like 8 player games either, but it does work well on larger maps, just not on classic.
