If there were a legitimately skilled player who has contributed to this site in a positive manner that was deserving in some way of being randomly gifted free premium, who would they be and WHY?

I'm incredibly serious about this, I cannot stress it enough, so I only want to see serious, well thought out answers. You have only a few hours to convince me of your arguments—while I am still in the mood so to speak.

Also, they need to CURRENTLY be non-premium.

I honestly have no clue. I don't really think i deserve it, i have done nothing that is worth recognition. Most people that make a good impact on this site are already premium.

actually, he should be it. he has/is making many maps, and that is a big contribution to the site.

Ridiculously skillful non-prem player, who I've never seen say a bad word to anybody, who has a spotless feedback record (barring one joke neg), and who I've never heard a legitimate complain about... man, that's got to be mhennigan.

Guy deserves a free premium simply for his Olympian freemium scoreboard climbing antics. If he posted more then I have no doubt he'd be regarded as a National Treasure.

There, first legitimate candidate that popped into my head.

I think you would need to take a hard look at all the map makes (like DiM, Cairnswk, gimil) and the tournament organizers (like me, who has no premium, gozar, soundout, and amozzy, I can never spell her name).

Let's clarify, I'm looking for only those currently NON-PREMIUM.

ok so the person has to be:
1. legitimally skilled
2. positive contributor


there are so many but 1 clear name pops in my head. WACICHA.

he's very skilled and his positive contributions in making tutorials and helping low rankers and noobs are very well known. not to mention he's a very nice guy.

can't think of anybody non premium. mhennigan was suggested but to be honest aside from his high score i can't see anything special about him, he may be a great guy but he hasn't contributed with anything positive.

Yes, cairnswk is premium as is wacicha, although both are legitimate nominations, I'm still looking for non-premium.

mhennigan is an interesting suggestion, however, would he be interested in being premium I wonder as he is making a serious feat by being where he is as a non-premium.

I'm glad that somebody concurs with me.

Honestly, there's a whole lot of bickering and sniping that revolves around high-rankers hating on other high-rankers (not all of them are guilty of this, don't get me wrong), and there's inevitably some kind of cheating scandal swirling round one of them at any one time (some of it's true, and some of it's just sour grapes).
But Mhennigan has always risen above that crap and he's never exuded anything but pure class. He's a sportsman and a gent, and I think that's something CC's upper echelons (and players in general) need more of.

He's a role-model for the site on so many levels... get that man a prem.
