I would like everyone that takes the time to read this to answer this survey about clans. I am thinking about making a clan of my own, and I want to hear a few things about what other people think about them:

1. How many clans are you currently in?

2. What are the names of the clans, and what are they about(video games, chatting, challenges...)?

3. Why did you join those clans?

4. Are you currently a clan leader? If yes, for what clan?

5. If you were to join a(nother) clan, what would you want that clan to be about?

Digital Artists (art), Spamalot (talking, i guess) , Old School Forumites (i dont know), 18 and under (also talking)

Probably 4 proper clans, and 3 discussion groups though the line between can be blurred on occasion.

Churchill's War Cabinet for the British CCer, The Rogue State for freedom and ideals and fun, The Pleasant Chaps for the kings of flame fame, esoog a si !selttikS for Skittles! adoration, and for the discussion groups: CC Mafioso for mafia game discussion, Heavy Dancers for anti-jay-and-other-people-the-government-etc-is-trying-to-silence talk & games, and Society of the Cooks as staff to help out (well, I try to).

3. Why did you join those clans?

I joined the RS originally because I liked the people in it and it seemed like a decent idea. Pleasant chaps are just plain awesome, CWC I applied to join when Telvannia kickstarted it again because I always wanted to join it, the rest I joined because I was asked to (esoog - also, I was once assaulted by a goose while on a bike and it was bloody scary!) or empathise with the topic it focuses on (Dancers, Cooks and Mafioso).

4. Are you currently a clan leader? If yes, for what clan?

Yes, for the Rogue State since the original, XenHu, had to leave.

5. If you were to join a(nother) clan, what would you want that clan to be about?

Something I could relate to, with people I like chatting and playing with.

Dunno. Poetry maybe. I like poetry. Gives me an idea actually...

The Untouchables. We are a close knit bunch of players. All my clan mates are fantastic. We play in house mafia games. Take part in clan wars and generally chat about everything and anything.

3. Why did you join those clans?
I was Asst Clan leader for KOE but their attitude towards its clansman as the time was close to a dictatorship!! So around 25 of us decided to leave and set up our own clan based on democratic principles. We know have a seven man council in place which decides on clan matters by voting. These councilman bar 3 are democratically voted in by the clan every 3 months.

4. Are you currently a clan leader? If yes, for what clan?
I serve on the 7 man council of the Untouchables and am one of the councilman that can never be removed. The other 2 are rebelman and yorkiepete.

5. If you were to join a(nother) clan, what would you want that clan to be about?

I would never join another clan. I am loyal to one and it has everything i could possibly want. We are now considering branching into other games like Tribal Wars, PS£ online and xbox online.

6. If you were to run a clan, what would that clan to be about?

A clan should be fun and there should always be something fresh and fun going on. Conquer Club has alot of players in more than one clan and this is not what clans are about. Some clans on CC are not even clans but usergroups or talking groups!!!

3. Why did you join those clans?
OSF;pika;spam-cause I can talk with cool peeps without all the newbs
CC mafia-cause im an active mafia participant
Next gen-cause I like next gen games
smash-cause I like smash
HD-Cause I need 1 competative clan and this is the best out there
DA-cause I like doodle assasins

I dont know. give me the idea and ill tell you weather id join it or not

Legion of the damned (LoD)
We have game divisions in several online games incl:

CC
Tribal wars (9/10/11&12)
Wolfenstien ET (Private server)
Bitefight (server6)

with Halo to be added shortly.

3. Why did you join those clans?

I helped to build LoD from scratch after our departure from the chaos in KoE at the time. We now have over 140members active in several game division along with a fully suppoted website/forums & ladder site

4. Are you currently a clan leader? If yes, for what clan?

Our clan stucture is slightly more complex than most, each division has its own leader along with recruiters.

Rahm E Hestos is our division leader for cc

Then there is a seperate Admin for the clan as a whole

I am ranked 3rd overall in the clan and oversee all game divisions.

5. If you were to join a(nother) clan, what would you want that clan to be about?

I wouldnt.

I already run LoD on a day to day basis.

1.Only 1 clan.......A clan is a family.I only have 1 family.Therefore I only have 1 clan.

3. I joined KoE,because of all the quitters on Hasbro Risk 2.The CD Version of risk has a floor.If someone quits,the game freezes and it needs to be restarted.After playing a game for 4 hours or so this becomes very annoying.

what is the point of being in more than 1 clan? if the clan is active at all? i was in several clans before i joined the dragoons, and they were all crap, and i have no interest in joining another one as the imperial dragoons offer me everything that i look for in a clan.

i have a clan in the works but we need a name-- perhaps i should start a poll and ask someone to think of a name for us. it could be like a contest

OR you could get your KLAN together and have your members submit ideas and vote on it amongst yourselves... there is an idea for you..-0
