Just been reading a few of the threads today in here and almost every one was these two ripping into each other even more than usual. Bloody great entertainment at any rate so I decided to designate a thread to it where the 2 of you could vent your feelings.

i'm not the one that joined 18 games vs a person that deadbeats everything just to get the record for most games where you got 0 points from a win

did i say that triples would ? and you're right DiM-- 1 vs1, it's all skill with drop having no effect on the outcome.....

i didn't say drop has no effect all i said is that 1v1 on all maps with various settings would be the best solution to determine the better player. no other gametype comes even close to such accuracy. because in team games you can win with help from good team mates and on standard games with more than 2 players it all depends on what the other players do.

also i will always chose good dice over a good drop.
good dice+skill=win no matter what drop you have

scott there is skill involved in 1 v 1 have a look through clive's games as evidence of this - its 1 v1 got him to colonel on more than 1 occasion and he maintains a win % in the 70s for that game type.

or look at my 1v1 games on aor might. i played 100 in 1-2 days after the map was released. obviously since i made the map i had skill on it so no matter who went first i still managed a win rate over 75%
