Wierdest Move Ever?

Postby nagerous on Wed Jan 23, 2008 5:35 pm

Check this move out:

http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1609249

In this quads game I took out the whole of my team in order to accumulate enough cards to take out the whole of their team. Craziest move ever? 10 wins to 2 losses now for the esoog quad team

not really. taking out team members for cards is a common practice

Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

Ah but I had to eliminate all my team-mates first before moving on to the opposition side because of the hole I was in.

It was escalating though - not that uncommon. Still, well played.

Personally, I had the crazy idea to try it with flat rate (triples) yesterday - all of us were dying but so were 2 of them so I thought I'd take out my 2 teammates and then them to leave it 1v1. I succeeded in killing my first teammate but the run ended there - it looked amateur to say the least!

Oh... I am sorry for spelling a word incorrectly. Thankyou for correcting me, I am deeply humbled. Also, Fitz I'm not too bothered about the reception, I just thought it was a pretty dangerous move (it was the only way for us to win that game and I just managed it each turn particularly when eliminating the first of their team after taking out my whole team, quite a turnaround for us) (sure the ever bit maybe was extreme, but thats hyperbole for you ;)). What does irritate me, however is patronising asses like Owenshooter coming here and making himself frankly just appear like a dick to anyone that reads this. I was also attempting to change the focus of general discussion forum into something a little more risk based as all it seems now is a boasting shop for top-rankers. Alas, owen has clearly shown his dominance in spelling and risk-playing skills with his unique style of negative posting. Win some... lose some I guess.

if by "dangerous", you mean in a michael jackson way, then yes. seriously, it was escalating and a pretty standard move and strategy. i'm not negative, i'm just amused that you found this move to be something worth bragging about in a thread. like we should all quickly jot this down in our collective CC DANGEROUS/BRILLIANT MOVES manual. maybe blitz can start a TOP FIVE DANGEROUS MOVES BY NAGEROUS list. i'm not being negative, i'm just being me.-0

Not bragging, I told you. Just posting, thought it was cool. Meh... you can be cynical all you want but I'm not like Johnny Wocket and obsessed with that kinda stuff. Felt like generating a bit of discussion.
