Why did my thread get deleted about the site's problems?
Posted: Mon Jan 21, 2008 7:03 pmI posted quite reasonably on the gen. discussions here and the bug reports as well. game #1553321. There were three or so other posters who had the same problem as me who have been deleted as well. Why no explanation? Why no answer?
The game I'm in is turning to hell. I took no turn, having received 25 extra armies I didn't deserve. At least, I didn't attack anyone, and posted for help. My opponent eliminated the other player which gave him a considerable advantage- five cards- which he used to lock the game up against me.
You do know the rules of the game right? You know what a considerable skewing of the game this is, correct?
Here is from the rules: "Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games, intentional deadbeating, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts."
To me, taking advantage of a glitch in the system is gross abuse of the game. Which is why I didn't do it. And now I have to be angry about someone who did do it.
Why can nothing be done? Why do bad feelings have to come up here?
