Missed turn army restriction

I know that a good player can/should account for a player whose missed a turn and may come back. It's a pain however when a player misses two turns and comes back to wreck the game. When a player misses a turn they should only be able to attack with the armies they receive for the CURRENT turn. Armies they received on previous turns should only be used to fortify positions after attacks are completed. This has the double effect of not encouraging people to miss a turn and also allowing the other players to fortify when they see the player who missed is indeed still in the game.

Ummm........this is the case. Any missed turn armies aren't deployed until after the Attack phase.

Are you sure? I played a game just yesterday, and i swear the person received his armies for the current turn, then his armies for the previous turn, then attacked. If I am mistaken then just ignore this post with my apologies.

Your're right. I checked it myself in the game log and it says that the previous turn's armies were received before attacking, but not actually DEPLOYED until attacks were completed. Sorry again about that.
