1)the other player takes oz first go and you have 3 newtral armies on siam
Ok... could be worse... they could have taken all (most of) NA, and had neutrals on iceland, venezuela and Kamtchaka? The game has positioning value hun. If they've got a heavy drop in australia they likely have a weak drop somewhere else. You should be able to capitalize on that.

I'm going to assume you mean because in 2 player games you are fighting so often you cant focus on fighting neutral 3s long because you are always on your toes? Didnt you just say a player could take Oz in the first round?

This has happened to me in one of my games I believe lol. I dont think this is at all related to a 1-1 game outside of the fact that its go-go-go all the time. Isnt that the point to 1-1 games?

Sorry hun lol I'm going to pretend I didnt read this. We are after all looking for valid reasons why 1-1s arent fair, dice can hate anyone anytime no?

Cant kick lower rank player than me out? In short, did you just tell me that 1-1 games are unfair because you lose to a lower rank player than yourself?
I really think your comments are not just directed to 1-1 but luck in general. Dice against you? Having to attack neutrals? Being pressured constantly and forced to do the same? Seems like alot of your problems deal with any aspect of the game regarding any # of players. I myself have played 3 one on one games and won all of them lol
