score calculation

it says in the "score & ranking" section of the instructions that "At the end of each game, the winner takes points away from each loser. The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent." what i dont know is how you get the loser's score and the winner's score, because i dont see any correlation between anything that i can think of (such as order of elimination, etc.)

Score is how many points you have. The amount of points determines your place on the scoreboard and the icon beside your name. To see how many points you have, just check out your profile (that is, click on your name in a game, you can see other peoples profiles by clicking on their name).

oh, so they mean total score. i thought they calculated some sort of score in that specific game itself that i didnt know how to get to. it all makes sense now... if you dont have that many points to begin with, and you lose the game, you lose less because the skill gap between you and the winner is bigger. thanks!
