Is This Fair?

In a game with RaPhaPouèL (game 1332566), he had the game won but kept on building up his armies just to humiliate me. He built up to over a hundred and refused to finish the game off. After a few turns I deadbeated because obviously he is just trying to be a jerk. Then he leaves me negative feedback for deadbeating, while I leave him negative feedback for not finishing the game.
Then I get a feedback report saying that my feedback was retaliatory. This was the feedback I gave him:
Once he knew he had a win, kept on building up his armies just to humiliate me. When I deadbeated (because he wouldn't end the game), he gave me negative feedback.
I asked King Achilles to add a slightly modified version of the feedback to this player's list. He said that he wouldn't because mine was retaliatory, but that my negative feedback was staying because I shouldn't have deadbeated. Was king achilles abusing his mod power because he doesn't like me? Or was he in the right to do this?

As much as it pains me to say this, no, it wasn't fair.

holy crap this happened to me recently and i left one heckuva a long negative for that guy lol
i personally think that because the player just extended the game and didnt do anything productive, and also forced you in that position all you can do is deploy, suicide armies, save up and watch them get bashed back down, or deadbeat and end the game. i think this is the only case in which deadbeating shouldnt be considered bad because the other player FORCED you.
i didnt check but if you are a freemium this would be even worse as it takes up a slot
and i dont discriminate when it comes to feedback and cheating, i may not like you at all wrestler but everyone deserves at least a fair chance at these things.
i think that feedback is not at all retaliatory if it is then my latest negative feedback i put on someone should be removed and im sure there are MANY others just like it out there

That's what you get for being a jerk

That guy is a jerk, who I suppose inflates his ego by hoping that a random person will look up this random game and see his 200 army territory. Whoopee f'ing doo. I would've deadbeated him too....not an honorable player. Your negative should certainly be taken down....you tried to finish a lost cause game out, like a decent player, and were punished twice for it.

def. not fair. i would have deadbeated in that case. i have never deadbeated a game at all. but for that i would. and the neg. it should be removed. take the problem higher. (if there is a higher power)

Yes, the e-ticket is your friend in this case.

Of course, you know much about it, and surely King Achilles is not in charge of it, like Wreslter mentionned.
On the subject, of course that negative was not fair, and if you want to make a case to have it removed, it would be considered trival. You didn't deadbeat, you finished an already finished game.
On the other hand..The negative you left was actually retaliatory. Simply because it mentionned the other negative in it. I am 99% that, if I heard right, editing it to exclude anything but the game content will make it a valid negative that the mods will place against that guy.
And also slap him, if they can. At least I wish they did.

Perhaps King Achilles wasn't fully cognisant of the facts. Probably best thing to do is to send an e-ticket about it.
If you want to avoid having feedback deleted in the future I'd suggest not mentioning the other persons feedback in what you write. That pretty much automatically makes it retaliatory, even if what you write is true, as it suggests your motivation was because you had received a negative.

I've already sent 3 e-tickets to king achilles, each one giving different feedback to this guy. Let's see if he accepts the third one. I really don't like king achilles much, nor do I like optimus prime. Optimus prime thinks that he can discuss an IP ban for me. That's none of his business!

ka and op are both liked and respected - you should use them as role models

wrestler1ump,
nobody should be treated that way in a game, that's why you put him on ignore. I wish that when we put people on ignore, that we are not able to join games with that person, because sometimes after a long time I forget and I join a game with someone I didn't want to play with again.
And as far as the e-tickets go.... If you are going threw the help, I don't think that you get to choose which mod reviews and takes care of your problem.
You should give a link or the name of the person who did this to you, in the cheating and abuse forum, so we can get a heads up on this person. I would think that your situation would be a abuse.
It is however just a game, and you got a premium, so don't worry so much about it ok, and the mods will take care of the feedback for you, if they feel it was wrong. They are pretty fair here.

deadbeating out of that game was perfectly fine, the other guy was prolonging it unnecessarily.
Just don't mention other peoples feedback in your feedback and you'll be fine.

yeah, something like that is only acceptable when you know the person, they are your nemesis, and you are paying them back for impregnating your sister and mother in the same week.-0

It is not valid to leave feedback when you force someone to deadbeat. However, saying "he gave me a feedback" does indeed make it retaliatory. I've looked at the game and the feedbacks and deleted his for you and reinstated yours. In the future, only talk about a person's gameplay, NOT their feedback for you. It is our practice when the initial feedback is retaliatory, that the same feedback edited will only be made a neutral, but in cases like these, there can be an exception.

wrestler1ump:
When a feedback is not removed upon your request, it does not mean that I hate you. When a decision is made and it is not in favor for you, don't take it personally.
Reading your edited feedback now, it is now valid for reinstatement. Your last edited one was not because you still mentioned his feedback for you. Anyway, just to make things clear, the Feedback Guidelines are there for everyone to follow. If you make a negative feedback that is not within the guidelines, it will be removed. If you make hundreds of negative feedbacks that is violating the guidelines, it will be removed. There is nothing personal about that.

Pretty sure I never did any such thing, so if you wish to hate me for another reason, feel free.

I like the idea of using them as role models. King Achilles and I had a disagreement a while back, but if that is settled I am happy and ready to get back onto good terms with him. Same with Optimus Prime. I do believe he came down pretty hard on me in the past though.

Sorry Optimus Prime, it was coleman who stated:
Back when I was a mod on another site my response would be such that people wouldn't know who wrestler1ump or Ronaldinho were except for their existence in the game history.
In this case we're probably lucky if either one gets banned from the forums at all much less full out account/post deletion and ip banishment.
I try to get along on here but when mods say stuff like that to me it can get me going.

Is it okay if they do it in different weeks?
