A deadbeat is a person who misses 3 turns in a row, in a single game. They get kicked out of the game for missing 3 turns in a row.

Deadbeat is often used to label players who use the 'miss a turn' option as if it were a strategy.

It can also be used to mean someone who misses a lot of turns; I would hesitate to use it for simply missing one turn, but 2 or 3 in a game, even if not consecutive, might make me think of someone as a deadbeat as well.

Apparently the official CC definition however, is the miss-three-in-a-row thing that some of the people above are so adament about.
