All This Negative Feedback

Postby wrestler1ump on Thu Oct 25, 2007 11:26 am

Before, I used to say stuff in game chat to get negative feedback on purpose, and would often fish for negative feedback because the feedback thing here is so hilarious.

Now I am trying to get more positives and stop getting negative feedback, yet the negatives keep piling up. This is very frustrating and I just don't know what I can do.

Missing turns is quite acceptable on this site. Wicked allows it. I miss turns by accident now and then, but wicked allows people to miss turns to purposely slow down games and screw up realtime games, so why should I get all this negative feedback when I miss an occasional turn by accident?

becasue feedback is people opinion on you in that paticular game. Just because wicked "allows" people to miss turns has nothing to do with how people feel after they've played you.

Missing 4/5ths of the turns in a game isn't "occassional".

and giving the response I got distracted is also not a very good response to the feedback.... It's the same thing as freestyle games just because waiting the last second wasn't technically cheating people still gave negatives to warn other players about that player... Your negative feedbacks are a warning that you miss a lot of turns

So you're reaping what you sowed? You deliberately fished for negative feedbacks and now you decide you don't like them, tough. You're having to live with the consequences of your actions. You've nobody to blame but yourself and I doubt you'll find any sympathy on this site.
The more you know the more you know you don't know what you know stone's throw left to go bad weather hell for leather now and zen you goof again you never blow your trip forever.

'ey up wump, me ol' mucker as we say in these parts.
Although fishing for feedback isnt allowed, its amazing how often people say nice things about you when you say nice things about them.
Plus, keep it light hearted and friendly in the in-game chat always helps.
But the deadbeating thing is crucial-most of my negative feedback comes from not showing up.
Just have fun mate.

Let me tell you a story about a pet ass I used to have. I had this ass, and sometimes this ass would act just like you would expect an ass to act. But when I let the dogs out to run around with the ass, then the ass tried to act like the one of the big dogs. The dogs just ignored my pet ass, but the ass would try and run with the big dogs, and the big dogs would just ignor the ass no matter how hard the ass tried to act like one of the big dogs. The big dogs just knew that an ass was an ass no matter what the ass did.

Get it?

Acting like less of a prick might help with this situation. You see, people tend not to give you negative if you're a semi-pleasant human being; I think this is where you're falling down.

Alternatively if you want some positive feedback quickly then I'll make you an offer:
Set up a 1v1 game with me, let me win, and then before I conquered your final territory say "Dancing Mustard I'm your littlest bitch, thank you for my reaming master, may I have another".

Then I'd give you a positive.

You want more positives? Seriously? Here, try these two tips for starters:

1. Use teamchat--in our dubs game right now I've got ten entries on the game and you've got a grand total of...........none.

2. Follow suggestions, especially the common sense ones--like when I said hey, park in Pakistan so red won't bust my bonus and you didn't...*sigh*

Really it can't be that hard, can it? Or am I just ](*,) ?

For now I think I'll take your criticism with a pinch of salt.
So until next time, you just keep having fun on your lonesome, in your little glass house.

Quit accusing me of not using the game chat. I responded multiple times to you, and did what you told me. And yes I did attack and put my armies in Pakistan so I don't want to hear you tell me I didn't do that either.

I have not played in a game with you ,but have seen you post's in the forum .
you seem to take even constructive criticism as a personal attack ,try and
remember to have some fun in the games you play ,
I know this is an old cliche but it's the taking part that counts not the winning.

If you wish to play a game with out any hurtful comments from the other player i will give you a 1v1 game and you have my promise that i will not
disparage your game play or name win or lose
Are there many things in this cool-hearted world so utterly exquisite
as the pure love of one woman for another?
