Conquer Club

Yes it's time to cheer for CONQUER CLUBS newsletter it will be a great addition to conquerclub It will include things to watch out for. Tournaments to join. And the great thing is IT'S FREE (apart from the fact I need you to help write articles).

Here is the list of articles which will be written:

Tournaments
Game of the Week
Real-Time set-ups
Interviews with the leaders
Letters



All this online when I finish writing the articles
And you can help to just send me your article and I'll get it up soon

I like the idea but I doubt it will take.


This isnt meant to be offensive to you at all Max, but I think if some one like Highborn or Cahoots had proposed it would get more feedback.


Also, people probably dont want to take time out of there lives to write articles.

It is a really good idea, I agree, but Max is asking for other people to help write the articles and I dont know who will.


If cahoots had proposed this people would love to write articles for her.

Anyway, Max, I LOVE the idea. No joke, I really dig it, and I think you should go through with it, It would be weekly, and articles could be made by players, who would put it together, and have lackattack send it too all the members.

actually we did beat them last night.
alstergren and cmeb4udie took on 2 of em and killed them in round 5 i think.

I really didnt mean offense to max, and I really do like the idea. I just thought that Max was going to be the person who told people what articles to write and I didnt know people were willing to take orders from a kid (I guess I'll have to order people around more ) .


I missunderstood the concept of the newsletter and was thinking it would be more like a newspaper.


A CC newspaper would be really tight too, but I dont know how it would work.

I like the idea very much too, although I dont know if you will suceed. But I would like if you try... Great idea.

Hey max it's funny that you bring this up now. I've been planning a "Monthly Report" which would be sent by PM to all on the first of each month, starting Aug 1st. The content would be very similar to what you propose.

Perhaps you can help me put it together.

My ideas were:
Last month:
-Most/Least improved members
-Gamesites200 ranking (with a link to vote)
-Tournament results (if any)

This month:
Ongoing/Open tournaments

And special features like maybe joetalk's spiritual message of the month or Zawbanjito's "grievance extravaganza" pick of the month.

It would have to have to be short and sweet, especially the first few editions.

Interviews are something I've been thinking about for another project, the Conquer Club Quarterly newsletter which would be sent by email (with unsubscribe option). But that's on hold until September or maybe even January.

Max, this is a great idea, but will take a tremendous amount of work, over and over, again. It would be great if you can put the time into it.
