Once you click "Begin Turn" - you have 1 hour (or 5 mins for speed games) to complete your moves.

A. You are given whatever armies you have earned.
B. You are allowed to cash-in cards for armies
C. You are given the chance to Deploy those armies
D. You are given the chance to Attack/Bombard territories
D1. If you eliminate someone and now have more than 4 cards, you are forced to cash-in cards for armies, which you can then Deploy
E. You are given the chance to Fortify territories
F. You are given a card [if applicable] if you successfully Attacked/Bombarded any territory

If during any stage your time runs out, the remaining stages are rendered moot. NOTE: This is NOT considered a missed turn.

So, if you have finished stages A and B (but have not started stage C) and run out of time - those armies are lost forever.

Notice that if you don't end fortifications (stage E) and run out of time - you will NOT get a card (stage F).
