best map for 2-player?

Any thoughts? 2-player games are worse than crack. usually i play on Europe and Discworld - Europe you start with 5, discworld has that ankh-morpork bonus. I like them.

Any better ideas and why. And that question goes to number 2.

I like world 2.0 because its hard to be dealt with an incredible drop, and its so big, that one or two bad turns wont matter as much

it gives some time for skill to over come

the maps with wierd bonuses are the worst

age of merchants, king of the hill, etc, and DDay are a blast, but not if youre not the one with a 14 bonus on the first turn

I think Aussie, Classic, and Doodle Earth are good for 2 player games. ;)

I'm a fan of the Italy map that just came out. I'm in several 2 player games on that one that I just started and I'm liking it so far.

king of the mountain

you start with 15 territories. if you go first, you can knock the other player down to only 4 to start and you always attack the kings first for extra bonuses. with any luck, the other player cant take them back on his first turn and you are set to spread the attack next round with a much higher bonus.

its no secret the player that goes first has the advantage. I just found this map a little eaiser to play. my record is like 25-0 on it too.

I'm no fan of the larger maps on 1v1... too much advantage to the guy that goes first. I figure there's enough luck in these, why increase it?

So, yeah. Classic, british isles, middle east, san francisco... all good.
