Modifying base reinforcements

Is there a way to alter the number of armies received for having a number of territories? Obviously I mean written into the XML of the map, not a way to personally change the number.

I ask because as maps get larger with more territories, the territory bonus becomes enough to give a significant advantage to the first players. On Battle of Actium for example, a 1v1 game gives each player 10 armies to start, which is more than enough for the first player to take 3 territories from the other. If the code could be changed to give 3 armies for any number up to 30, then increase from there, the game wouldn't hinge so much on who goes first. I'm interested in working on a map like this, with ~100 territories, but only if this can be implemented.

Edit: Fixing a typo before I get ridiculed. 200 is a lot to fit on one map.

yes it is possible and if i'm not mistaking some future maps will have different values for the bonus that comes from the number of terits.

Thanks, that's very interesting. Any idea if increments can be changed? ie. You'll get 4 for 12, 5 for 14, 6 for 16, etc. I don't really need that, but it's nice to know what's available.
