No Ms Paint?

How come you cannot use Microsoft Paint to make a map? Thanks...again, Jesse710

If you can make a good quality one, feel free to post it. Other graphics programs have bucket loads more features though (the most pertinent ones being layers and actually being able to save in non bitmap format properly) and generally speaking, once you've used 'em, why on earth would you want to use paint aside from to make a point to the unconverted?

You can, but it looks much better on Photoshop and such.

you arnt alowd to use paint for the simple fact that it is impossible to reach the standards that are expected within the foundry. It doent have the features or ability of even the freeware graphics softwares.

not impossible, you would need to work on it pixle by pixle to get tothe quality you wanted and i the commuity wanted a change then you would have to rework an entire area rather than jsut a single layer (like in proper software packages)

why not just use Paint.net?? what is wrong with that? i thought it was a kick ass free program....check it out...
