I started using firefox because of CC 6-8 months ago. I am not sure why it is better but I am told that it is and it makes the "BOB" work so I use it. The only thing that really bothers me is when I open a new window in Firefox the window opens at my homepage. When I was using Internet Explorer the new window would open on the same page I was currently on. I like the Internet explorer method much better. I am sure there is a way to make my Firefox do this too but I do not know how. Can any of you help me out?

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean, because my IE7 didn't act as you described...

Do you particularly need a new window though? Tabbed browsing is far easier in most situations.

OK if I open a new tab it opens to a blank page. How do I get it to open (tab or window) on the same page I am currently on.

Example: If my home page is Google and I am currently on CC and I want to open a new window on CC I have to click on FILE, NEW WINDOW, and this new window will be on google when I wanted it on CC.

This did not happen on Internet Explorer.

I do appreciate your helping me by the way.

you can set favorite pages to go up in a little bar above the tabs...just put conquer club there, and then click on it when you open up a new tab.
As for the way you are opening up tabs, there is a much easier way...just hit Ctrl + t on a PC, or Command + t on a mac. much quicker than going through file to tab

there are firefox extensions to do this for sure...for to "tools>add-ons>get new extensions" (or something like that) and search for what you are looking for.

If you really cant find it, PM me and I'll help ya out.

yes, there is an extension called Tab mix plus. So go to Tools.. Add-ons.. Extensions.... and search for Tab mix plus.
Then you can easy set your default preferences how you like new windows or tabs to open up.
The easiest way to do what you asked about is simply to right click on any box on CC homepage and chose if you like it to open as new tab or window etc.
good luck
