Speed games for premium memberships only???!!!!

Postby Jesse710 on Sat Sep 01, 2007 9:28 am

This sucks Why can't speed games be for free accounts too? Speed games are not going to make people want to become a member it is going to piss off the players who have free accounts who were thinking about. Conquer club will lose customers because of this! Unlimited games, golden ranks, and private games are enough!

You missed the ability to create Private games. But yeah I agree, we should be able to join Speed games if not start it at least :(

I agree. If we can't create them we should be able to at least join them.

But that's the same thing, if you think about it. Then you can just ask someone to make a speed game to the setting you want. And technically you just started a speed game.

To be fair to the people that pay the bills if you are a free member you could be playing all day for free while the extra bandwidth used would cost.

There should be a difference between a Free account and the ones that have paid the money for a Premium account. You should be thankful for what you have already as a freemie. :D

Ohh....I took his statement to mean that we (free players) couldn't join speed games. If we are able to join (but not start) then I am cool with that.

cough up the 20 bucks, you won't regret it and you'll be contributing to the site rather than criticizing a smart business move.....

seriously, 20 dollars, easy to come by, think about it......

The bollocks should freemium people get access to speed games.

For a lot of people, that would amount to there being almost no difference between free access and premium membership. After all, you can only practically play one speed game at a time.

I'm not subsidising a load of freeloaders to spend all day playing speed games.

Don't forget, free accounts still can play 'Speed Games'...they just have to organize them and play with the 24 hour version. The options are still out there just like before, so use that. ;)

If your only desire is to play speed games it is doubtful you would want to play more then four at a time. So there would never be any point in you paying for the content. This is why it is premium only.

I think free players should be able to join speed games (just like private games.)

I also support free players being able to create speed games but i guess lackattack needs to encourage people to get premium.

the idea of speed games was to cure the problem of deadbeat games and the back log of games that have deadbeated
and keeping to prem only will not cure it
if you have a prem you can put a pw on game and make it agrement to have a rt or how ever fast you want the game there for speed games are not needed
umm wicked is known for her deadbeating games :-)
andy i got a lovey banana for you

Well, you could head down to Walmart with $20 cash and buy a pre-paid credit card and VOILA! you are a Premium.

Oh, you might need slightly more than $20... Does anybody know if they charge a fee?

But since you are in Canada, if you live close enough to Lack I would guess you could mow his lawn just once and.....

PS- This is NOT an endorsement of Walmart... I hate pretty much everything about how they do business.

Jesse, you can do the impossible. Save your spare change and buy a pre-paid credit card (VISA, Master Card, etc.)
and upgrade your membership. It's just not that big of a deal so quitcherbellyachin.

premium mebership

Postby James Vazquez on Sat Sep 01, 2007 1:00 pm

this site will not survive on freebie accounts. unless you want lack to start selling advertiseing or something on here. like stupid popups between turns.
than we have to encourage freebies to shell out the ridculously cheap fee of 20$ for membership. only way to do that is offer more beenies to premies.

remember nothing has been taken away form the free accounts. lets all keep that in prespective.

membership has its previlages!!

not sure how you can define yourself as a customer when you don't pay a cent to support this site. If you want something in this world you have to pay for it.

You go to the movies, you pay. go eat in a restaurant, you pay. go see a show you pay. You want speed games? then pay, a measly 5 cents a day. You should try going into your local macdonalds and trying to get a big mac meal for free. at least here you get the fries for free.

I mean really how do you expect lack to make a living improving this site if people don't pay?

I can't believe the attitude of these freeloaders who seem to expect a top notch service but won't pay......UNBELIEVABLE
