No Worries 'mon!

<-------

Go to "My Settings" right there to your left

scroll down to "Enable AJAX' and click "NO" and your BOB will work fine.

it is actually missing a couple of features - the ccolour on the drop down menus and the armies on territories for attacking to, probably due to the new menus.

Still, I really don't like this ajax wotsit, so it's better than nothing.

If you want a speed game, you'll have to switch over to ajax. If you're like me and you have 20+ games going, you can't operate without a counting script . . . you just can't.

Give it time, and someone will integrate the two. In the mean time, it only takes a couple seconds to switch modes.

hmm..guess I misunderstood the message. Have you tried speed games both ways? Is there a difference?

With AJAX disabled the screen and such doesn't update automatically., and you can't use the script (if you leave the script enabled, you can't start your turn). However, you can refresh the screen whenever you want by way of the refresh map link.

With AJAX, the screen and chat updates automatically every 15 seconds, but you can't refresh whenever you want, and the scripts don't work.

To disable greasemonkey, just click the smiling monkey (should be in the lower left of your browser).

To disable AJAX, go here and click to disable it.

ahha! this will actually speed thing up because so many rt players refresh as fast as their connections will allow with the old method, so some people I'm sure were gettign 100 refreshes a minute. With ajax they are limited to four. This is a good thing.
