Make it a private game.

then others need to have a password i see trips games all the time with
all high rated players appear and they are not private

If your partner is online and waiting for you to join it; he should have no problem getting in to be your partner. Another option is to create the game then drop it if someone that isn't your partner joins. That is unless the game fills completely before you can get to drop it.

In the future we hope to implement a feature to make it easier for team mates to join games together. Check out the sticky in the Suggestions forum for more details.

Just make sure you're both online, then private message your partner, say "go look now" and create your games. It should be real easy for your partner to find your games by clicking your name and then "find all games with xxxx."

its even easier if you just go to the end of "Join a Game" lists because it was recently created, so it will the last game on the list.
