How does this thing calculate a value for strength?
I am in game right now where Me and another player each have 96 armies.
I have 6 countries, he has 15.
I have no bonus territory, he has Oceania (classic map)
I have 3 cards, he has 5.
You would think he would have a higher strength value, right?
Well my strength = 97.34
His strength = 93.34
Can anyone explain this to me?

Strength Formula

I don't know the exact formula but it's something like this:
A) Number of Armies [currently on the map]
B) Number of Territories owned
C) Estimated Armies from Territories/Continents [includes missed turn multiplier]
D) Estimated Armies from Cards
It's A - B(x 2/3) + C + D
EDIT: I figured out what the real methodology is.
So, for yours
Him: A = 96; B = 15(2/3) = 10; C = Step(15/3) + Oceania Bonus = Max(3,5) + 2 = 5+2 = 7; D = 6.34
You: A = 96; B = 6(2/3) = 4; C = Step(6/3) + No Bonus = Max(3,2) + 0 = 3+0 = 3; D = 4.34
Him: 96 - 10 + 7 + 6.34 = 99.34
You: 96 - 4 + 3 + 4.34 = 99.34
So, basically you must have just deployed MORE armies or done some attacking to knock his # of armies down (and yours) - otherwise your strengths should be exactly equal

Your armies are more dense than his are. For instance, you average armies per country is about 16 (96 armies divided by 6 territories) while his concentration is only about 6 (96 armies divided by 15 terr.)
You have a higher average for armies for every territory so greasemonkey sees you as being stronger.
