any ideas why i'm being blocked from conquerclub.com

I have to go through http://www.hidemyass.com to even see the site.
It is the same for all sites hosted by rackspace.com
When i do a tracert I get stuck at a private IP node in paris.
I suppose it's my ISPs fault but I'm not sure what they will do. Anyone else suffered the same problem.
I don't really trust this hidemyass.com at all but I was going to miss my turn in about 25 games so had to do something...
