Freestyle strategy question

Is it ok to wait til someone is offline to take your turn in freestyle games, or is it shunned because I had a game until the person I played did it to me.

personally i think thats fine, unless its declared realtime
what many will complain about is waiting to play till there is 5 minutes on the clock, not giving them a good chance of making their turn
waiting a few hours in a non realtime shouldnt be a plroblem, but it will depend on the player

This is why I moved to sequential. I cannot help but feel compelled to do what is necessary to win within the given bounds. I work. I live. I learn. Becoming a slave to freestyle is not worthwhile.

yea freestyle got to the point where i was checking cc every 5 minutes to see if the next round had started... sticking with sequential makes things easier
