How do you start a RT game? Do you just ask the person to play that way, or is there somewhere to look for them?

Just make sure that only people who want to play real time join the game.

Go to the left side of the screen to the "Interaction Menu" and the go to "Live chat" Option. Once there, go to the "callouts" Section, and advertise that you are interested in a RT game.

Ask someone to play a real time game with you, and, more often then not, there is someone in there that wants to play.
If you aren't premium, then, you must act quick to ensure someone else doesn't join your game, who doesn't think it is a RT game, or, see if there is someone with a premium membership, who will create a "private game" for you, (Recommended)

Just a tip, never leave negative for not playing RT, since it could be a simple mis-understanding.

Thanks, and good luck,
-John

Two main ways to set them up:

1. Go to Live Chat (link on left sidebar), then to the Callouts tab, ask for a RT game. (preferred way)

2. Go to the Callouts thread and look for a RT game thread or set up a passworded game and post the details there.

aah but you gave false info... I'd never suggest joining a non-passworded RT, as those often joined by people who don't know they're not a RT, ergo they're not a RT.

AND left out a step.... interaction menu? lol
