Vacation feature

At another site I was at, where the site was based on chess, you had a set amount of time to complete your turn when it arrived. Normally 3 days. They had a feature similar to what I am going to propose.
Here, the concept is the same, but it is always 24 hours since the previous player ended their turn.
I suggest that not only can turn lengths be decided in the "Create a Game" section, but also a Vacation feature be added. You can use up to 14 days a year for vacation, and while the vacation is active, games where it is your turn are held until you return. Or, at the very least, you are not kicked from a game for missing a turn.
I have lost 2 games where I clearly had the victory had I not been kicked. And I'm mad about it. But that's just me.

Welcome to the site. A vacation button is actually in the works! Check out Lack's "to-do" list at the top of the suggestions forum for other exciting features on the way.

The vacation feature on a chess site works well, but I don't think I would like it here. Premium members have one month of vacation time where they can't be timed out for not making a move. It's better to just find someone to sit your games on CC and take the turns for you.
Chess also has game settings for time between moves and timebank, which is depleted after time between moves elapses. Players can set a game for 1 to 21 days between moves and none to 21 days timebank, which can really stretch out a match.
How do you anticipate a vacation calendar working here? All players in the game wait 3 weeks for someone to return? or maybe the site auto deploys armies across the territories or the missed turn doesn't count?

well, in some agreement with ^, but some of us are forgetful as of when we're going to take a vacation, or simply can't wait 2 days 2 play another game..
would loveto get premium, but my parents won't let me..i'm perfectly willing to play 20 dollars per year.

Say two/three players take successive holidays, could be a long time before anyone gets to play.
For a non-premium that could be very irritating indeed.
It could also be abused by delaying games where you are winning and getting all of your losses out of the way.

How about frequent player credits for the CC Store?!!! (I can dream, can't I?)
