Conquer Club

I know that as recently as a few months ago there was a sticky at the top of the tournaments page that listed all of the open, ongoing and completed tournaments. From what I have been told, that sticky was deleted due to the amount of time it took for the people in charge to keep it updated.

I for one would love to see a "Tournament Hall of Champions" sticky that specifically listed the winners of each tournament. The Hall of Champions could be divided into seperate categories such as:

Standard Singles, Doubles, Triples, Team Tournaments, 2 Player Tournaments and so on.

I have already begun the work of creating a master list by going through all of the threads and determining who the winners were. I realize that over half of the tournament 'directors' never bother to announce the winners or follow the official format, but for those that do, it would be nice to have some recognition for the winners of those tournaments.

My idea would be to search through all of the already finished tournaments to create the original master list and after it has been created only the tournaments that actually follow the format as outlined at the top of the tournament thread would get added to the list upon completion.

Voice your opinion so I can get a feel for if it is something worth looking into doing.

The sticky was removed because of the hardship of keeping it up-to-date, it just became sub-forums essentially.

Thats what I've discussed with AK_iceman. He told me to start a poll and see where the public thoughts lie.

Figured it was worth letting a poll run for a few days.

Apparently people like to read this, but don't want to vote. That's perfectly fine.

I'm just gonna let it fall off the front page now, I think I found out what I was interested in knowing. Thanks to those that did vote. I appreciate it.

So would this include ALL tournaments?

It would include all COMPLETED tournaments that I can find results for. At least that is what would create the main list. After that, it would be updated with ALL tournaments that are properly reported as being completed.
