stalling before winning

just wondering if anyone else does this when they find themselves in the situation

I was eliminated from a RT game and there were two players left fighting it out, and i checked back to my other games and in one it was my turn which i was about to win (only had a couple armies to clean up) - but i waited til the RT game was finished (because i was going to lose points there) before winning this other game.

Is that cool or just a manipulation of the scoring system?

I don't think most people would care either way about the 1 point you might save yourself/deprive them of.

Manipulation of the pointsystem, but within the rules, so I dont have to like it, I am just stuck with it.

^ ^ Extreeeeeeemely impressed with his points ^ ^ And so would tend to obsess about such things. Other than misssebstar here, i don't think anyone else would even notice, much less care.

Personally I probably wouldn't bother...

it would be benificial though so it's definitely something worth considering if you're concerned about your points that much. You'll save a few points as you lose each game and then probably be able to get back 5 points tops depending on how much you drop. If you're playing people all your own rank then I wouldn't even bother, but if you were in a game with a bunch of low rankers and was about to win a game against a colonol or something then yeah it would definitely be worth while.

I always do that. It does have a minor difference it can get you 1 or 2 more points.

the only reason i'd be mad is if the second game was rt tooo, otherwise who cares?
