How do you hide your CC games from the boss at work?

Now we all know that none of us would ever use company time and resources to play CC, but if we did, what are the most used methods?

I personally like to point out how Johnson hadn't finished the task he recieved earlier this morning. But I'm a real douche to work with.

*slaps*
I don't work, silly billy! Anyway I picked the last option purely for the random and funnyness of it.

Kudos on the avatar BTW, from that painting right?

I don't play CC at work, because I don't work. :D

it would be good if your boss played it :D

lol.. this is definitely CC-related and needs to be here. myself, I don't play at my current job, but at my last job I'd just minimize the screen... helped I sat facing out and no one could see my computer when they entered my office.

Forgive me oh mighty moderator and thank you for the calibration. I am now learning that there is more to life than playing CC, things like talking about CC. [-o<

Thank you for the calibration? What the?

I play during my class time at College and I play when I have nothing to do at work; I don't bother hiding it and everyone always asks me what I'm playing, so I use it as an opportunity to get more people hooked

Like me. :)

I *am* the boss...and since I usually get there ridiculously early in the morning, I usually play my turns before anyone else comes in. :)

yeah, i'm the boss here and rarely play while in work mode.... and when i do, since i must lead by example it is even more crutial to not be seen playing games....

but on those rare occasions when i do, when someone comes in my office I just click on my yahoo mail page, and they are none the wiser. But much of my work is "in the field" and for safety reasons there is just no way to play games until the work is done....

Great topic by-the-way...

I have 2 monitors interconnected so i keep a cc screen open on the right screen but quite small (just big enough to see the map) as im in an open plan office, my boss is on a desk less than 3 metres away and im yet to be caught, when he isnt in its cc full screen and game on :D

as everyone in my office except me is japanese, and i am the only one that knows any english, i don't hide it at all, i can play all day when i don't have a project to do. usually it just looks like i am looking at different maps of the world, which could very well be part of my job for all that they know.

i had one boss come over when i was playing a rt with some friends on the indochina map and he thought i was looking into going to vietnam or laos or somewhere for a vacation and just assumed i was doing research on the area.

we had a nice conversation about vietnam where i just bullshitted because i dont know much about the area, nor was i planning on going, and i ended it as quickly as i could so i could get back to my rt game.

It's EOQ now so I work from 8 AM till 12 AM so CC is a huge part of my work day! I don't hide it because I really don't have to unless the top dogs come to our Building! I just bring up my Outlook Inbox and all is well! 8)

... My boss used to walk by and look at whatever map was on my screen, stare at it for a few seconds, then wander off.

... Never asked me what I was doing.
