Newbies vs. Multi's? [Answered]

Postby stringybeany on Sun Jun 17, 2007 9:08 am

I'm starting to get the hang of this place, but I still have a couple noob questions left, like this one:

Of the forty or so games I'm in (almost all classic 6-player), about 8 have groupls of players with zero games that joined the same day from the same country.

They seem to quickly turn to deadbeats. Deadbeats ev'rywhar . . .

So are they mostly people that have signed up and then go away at the first wait or are they mostly multi's that have been caught?

By the way, I already appreciate the great hunting efforts by the mods here. I'm thinking many of these stalled games I'm in are multi's that have been busted?

while that could be the case it is more likly that they are just regular people that never come back to the site. A lot of n00bies join singles because they arent allowed to join doubles. There are also many counries in the world that are quite big. For example the US probably has about 50-300 new people come here everyday. How many stay I would have to say about 2/3.

1- i'd tell u to be more patient and not accuse ppl left and right...thats b/s

2- some ppl are multis infact lots of ppl are multies but hey u can always find ur way through some honorable men/women

3- again dont push it ...dont accuse ppl of being multies there are 7 billion human beings on earth and only 100000 have signed in to this website...so yes probably 20000 are multies but the rest u shouldn't accuse them of anything

Cheers

I'm not "accusing left and right"...when a player skips three turns is he a deadbeat or no? if there are two players in a game, both joined the same day, and both deadbeat the game, are they just deadbeats or are they multi's that have been busted?

it's a simple question. if you don't have the cognitive ability to parse it out, go back to your corner and suck your thumb like a good little boy.

so how about you back off your own b/s.

cheers to you too...try and lighten up

they are not likely multis since multis are allowed to finish their current games, and ive found that they typically do.

theyre just dumb people that joined and never came back. you should organize games in the chat or in the forums, for games that are less likely to have deadbeats. but even the best deadbeat sometimes.

If a multi is busted they get to finish the games they are in so the other players don't have to wait while they deadbeat.

I've joined mostly six player classic games from the game finder. As an unranked noob, I don't expect to get games with the regulars so I have to put up with more deadbeats while I get established.

I've been looking forward to playing rt games with the regulars.

I'll be around a while. I've been a certified risk addict for 40 years. It's incurable.

great site, thanks

Welcome to the site.
What works the best is since you are premium, either invite friends from real life or PM people you know on here and have them join a private game that you make. Then you know who is in the game and its fun playing against people you know.

If you need someone for a game, feel free to PM me anytime. I play Terminator Sequential on any map.
